The Mightiest VBS Theme for 2017

The VBS 2017 theme for Concordia Publishing House (CPH) was just announced! Here’s a quick overview to get the wheels turning as it’s never too early to get excited for next year and start dreaming up ideas.

MIGHTY FORTRESS
In Jesus, the Victory is Won!With Mighty Fortress, kids learn that they can’t always win everything. Whether they’re playing sports, taking a test, or attempting another challenge, they may not win every time… and that’s ok. They learn that Jesus has already won, already conquered death and is our champion. What great hope! Kids will celebrate Jesus’ victory in this adventure-filled Vacation Bible School.

Mighty Fortress is full of knights, princesses, and all the animals that would be present in a medieval castle. With tournament crafts and games, kids will get to use their God-given skills to get creative and stay active. Bible songs, memory verses and engaging storytelling will bring the Good News of Jesus into every fun-filled day.
